By registering for any Daud-È-Dilli event, you (“Participant”) acknowledge that you have carefully read, understood, and agreed to comply with the following Terms & Conditions established by the organizing committee (“Organiser”).
1. Eligibility and Age Categories
- All participants must register under the appropriate age group as specified on the event registration form. Misrepresentation of age or identity may result in disqualification.
- Winners of the Open Category (Free Prize) will not be eligible for any other age categories. Each category operates independently.
- Each participant is eligible to win a prize in only one category. Multiple category claims will not be accepted.
- Participants are required to provide valid age proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, or school/college ID) upon request from the organisers for verification purposes.
- Participants under the age of 18 must obtain parental consent to participate.
2. Ambassadors and Pacers
- Official Ambassadors and Pacers are appointed solely to provide motivation, support, and guidance to participants throughout the event.
- They are strictly non-competitive participants and are not eligible for any prizes, rankings, or awards.
- Pacers are expected to adhere to the event's pacing responsibilities and maintain a fair and safe environment for all runners.
3. Prizes, Rewards, and Recognition
- Only registered and verified participants who successfully complete the run in their respective category will be eligible for awards and recognition.
- Winners will be selected based on official timing results recorded by the timing partners or event management system.
- Any disputes regarding results must be reported to the organizing team within 30 minutes of the result announcement. Decisions made by the organizing committee shall be final and binding.
- The organizing team reserves the right to withhold a prize if any discrepancy, false information, or rule violation is discovered.
- Participation certificates, medals, and t-shirts will be distributed in accordance with the guidelines shared prior to the event.
4. Health and Safety
- Running is a physically demanding activity that may entail certain health risks. Each participant is responsible for ensuring that they are medically and physically fit to participate in the event.
- By participating, the runner acknowledges that they are doing so at their own risk and that the organisers, sponsors, partners, volunteers, or any related entities shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, or accident.
- Medical facilities may be available on the route and at the venue; however, the event team does not guarantee medical treatment and will not be responsible for any delayed or inadequate medical response.
- The organisers will not be responsible for loss, damage, or theft of any personal belongings or property of the participants.
- In the event of an emergency, the participant authorises the organisers to arrange medical treatment or first aid if necessary, with all associated costs borne by the participant.
5. Event Photography and Media Rights
- Participants grant the organisers full permission to capture and use their images and videos during the event.
- Event media may be used for marketing, promotions, and communications without compensation.
- The copyright of all event photography and videography remains with the event organisers.
- Participants consent to their images being used in public media and event promotion.
6. Event Rules and Conduct
- All participants must follow the route and instructions provided by event officials.
- Wearing the official bib number is mandatory during the race.
- Any form of cheating will result in immediate disqualification.
- Participants must maintain sportsmanship and respect towards others.
- Littering or misconduct will incur penalties or disqualification.
7. Cancellation and Virtual Event Policy
- The organisers may cancel or modify the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
- If a physical event cannot be conducted, it will become a virtual run.
- Virtual run participants must complete their distance independently.
- All participants will receive their event merchandise as planned.
- No refunds will be provided after registration completion.
8. Liability Waiver
- Participants assume all risks associated with running and related activities.
- The organisers shall not be liable for any injuries or losses.
- Participants release the event team from all claims or liabilities.
By registering for any Daud-È-Dilli event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the above Terms & Conditions. The organizer's decision in all matters shall be final and binding.
